SCHOOL RULES

  1. A Kapropita student is expected to be Present, Punctual in school during school days, participate in all school assignments and above all respect their superiors and adhere to all school regulations.
  2. A Kapropita student understands and lives to the expectation of the School Mission Statement.

SCHOOL REGULATIONS

PUNCTUALITY

Girls are expected to be punctual at all times and during functions in our school.

CLEANLINESS

Girls must always be clean, neat and tidy.

ALL chemical hair, jewellery, nail vanish, cosmetic and strong perfumes is NOT accepted.

DINING HALL

All school meals MUST be taken by all students.

Students should eat while seated with as little noise as possible.

Food should not be taken from dining hall to the dormitories.

Dishes should be washed at the sinks outside the dining hall and not in the dormitories.

SCHOOL PROPERTY.

All school property and facilities must be taken care of and any breakages reported to the office immediately.

PERSONAL PROPERTY.

All Pocket Money should be deposited at the accounts office.

A maximum pocket money allowed is 1000/= per term.

All your personal property MUST be clearly marked with your admission number.

On students’ welfare, the school canteen does not sell bread directly to students. Parents are asked to pay to the canteen for the supply of bread for the whole term.

VISITORS

Parents / Guardians are allowed to visit their daughters only on specified visiting dates with Visitors’ cards.

Visitors are not allowed in the dormitories (this includes old girls).

Those wishing to discuss academic progress of their daughter should arrange with the class teacher and to visit us on weekdays.

Weekend visits are unacceptable.

HALF TERM BREAKS

All students are released for half term once a term.

 

PERMISSION TO BE OUT OF SCHOOL.

Permission to be out of school at any time must be obtained from Principal /Deputy 

Principal on request / consent of parent /guardian.

 

UNIFORMS

Proper uniforms must be worn at all times in and out of school.

Games uniforms will be worn for games, communal work and P.E only.

OUT OF BOUNDS AREAS.

Teachers’ houses.

 Laboratories when there is no teacher or laboratory assistant around.

 School kitchen.

 Staff rooms.

 Other areas identified by the school authority.

SUNDAY SERVICES.

 School Sunday Service is COMPULSORY to all students in the dining hall at 8.30 a.m.

 A girl must be in proper uniform and should carry with her, a Bible and a Hymn Book.

ALCOHOL AND DRUGS

Students are prohibited from drinking alcohol, smoking or taking drugs.

Juices and biscuits are not allowed in the school.

RESPECT FOR OTHERS

Every student must respect their seniors and other students. Failure to abide by this may lead to serious consequences. 

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Mobile phones, SIM cards, Radios, Cameras, Cassette Recorders, tapes, Video games, boilers/kettles and any other electronic gadgets MUST not be brought to school.
